RAF Escape & Evasion map – European Sheet A/B SOLD

Sheet 43A/B Escape silk/rayon map, approximately 73 x 70cms.

Scale 1 : 1000,000.  Sheet ‘A’ covers North West France, West and Central Belgium and parts of Holland.  It also has an inset showing the Pyrenees (East and Central, scale 1 : 1500,000).  Sheet ‘B’ covers South West France and Northern Spain plus an enlargement of the Pyrenees showing the German-Swiss frontier.  Raw, unhemmed edges with light fraying and one small cut (see photograph).  Folded/creased.  Light marking.  The map retains good colour and is generally in very good condition.
